Erin Slaver, formerly of Liberty, will be playing backup violin tonight for Rascal Flatts at the Country Music Association Awards, and will be part of the house band playing a tribute to Glenn Campbell!
Erin, who started Suzuki violin lessons at age 4, has grown up performing throughout the area with her father, John Slaver, whom many of you know as an accomplished guitarist as well.

As Erin was growing up, the father and daughter act were regular hits on the Bethel Woods Harvest Festival stage, at the Historic Eddy Farm Inn and Sports Resort as well as numerous other area hotels and venues.

After graduating Stony Brook, Erin was making it big in the NYC circuit, playing the Bitter End and elsewhere this winter. But she decided just weeks ago to pack it up and move to Nashville – where it appears she belongs.

Sweetest Ride around is a car show open to all makes and models classic, muscle cars, and exotics. Judging and prizes will be awarded. There will be entertainment all day provided by Thunder 102 featuring a number of live entertainers. There will be a buffet pig roast with all the trimmings for $5/plate. All proceeds to benefit Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless. Pre-registration requested. Entertainment, Food and Prizes all day.
