"Be Mine Always" - an exhibition of photographs and poetry. This year, “Be Mine Always” has a mostly romantic focus, showcase poetry and photography expressing the various stages of romance, marriage, and lasting love. As in other years, the poetry will be transformed and displayed as a “poem object,” a physical rendition of the poem’s central image or images. These “poem objects,” along with the written poem, will be displayed in the gallery, mingled with photographs on the romantic theme of love. This year exhibition includes new features including a magnetic poetry wall and a “Kissing Glass” window installation.

Six consecutive Saturdays - This course explores painting from direct seeing. Instruction is geared to opening the personal voice whether beginner or more experienced. There is plenty of one-to-one instruction, in color, design, tones, all the elements that comprise two dimensional work. The emphasis is on getting free and discovering the route to self-expression through paint. We'll use still life, landscape, flowers. Work in oil, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, water color, or any other medium of your choice.

The concert is organized and hosted by TeamSkate Liberty and will feature a bevy of local talent: The Up & Coming, Gassito’s Revenge, Greg Castro, Justin Sutherland, Mikey Criggz, Julian Giaimo and DJ Sierra Thomas. The event is to promote the recently revived effort of TeamSkate Liberty to build a skate park in Liberty. The funds for the first phase are in place and the team is currently reviewing designs and concepts for the park to be built in 2012.
