"Verdant Ground" - a collaborative exhibition of work by photographer Karen Bell and sound artist Nick Forte with horticultural consultant Ed Mues. This show will feature over 15 nature photographs, predominantly of grasses, by Bell with an original sound installation, a symphony for 8 tape recorders, created by Forte. An installation of living flora will be incorporated by Mues and viewable after dark from 6-10pm in the gallery windows throughout the run of the show.

the jamboree celebrates SCCC’s sports teams, coaches and student-athletes. School spirit fills the fieldhouse as attendees take in the popular alumni basketball game and slam dunk contest, as well as get the opportunity to participate in other crowd games and contests. In addition, there will be a special recognition ceremony honoring the 2007-2008 NJCAA Player of the Year and former SCCC student Bertram “BJ” McDowell, as well as the 2008 Region XV Championship baseball team.
