MONGAUP POND 10 miles NE of Livingston Manor. From Rte. 17 go east 6 miles on DeBruce Rd., turn left on Fish Hatchery Rd., pass hatchery & bear right onto Mongaup Pond Rd. Trailhead at end of road provides access to approximately 50 miles of multi-use trails for every season: snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, hiking, and horseback riding. The trails are beautiful in any season! The trail system is maintained by the Sullivan County Trail Association (845-985-2636) in conjunction with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation .
